These are available from Moss as part number 162-200, $.30 each. They also have the black sleeves in single and double sizes. Also listed is the solderless type bullet connector, but no picture in the catalogue, I'm guessing these are the type used inside the Windtone horn and tail lamps circa 1957-62.

Now if some supplier would commission the reproduction of the plastic 1959-62 horn button with the "M" logo, I could replace my somewhat deteriorated ones from 55+ years of sun light.

I'll be very surprised if both Oldpharzparts and
Gerard don't have bullet connectors in stock John.

I do have 4 different sizes of bullets in both crimp and solder. I also have single and double connectors. Can't run an English car shop without. I also have proper crimpers to install them.

Never have sold any of those tools but installing bullets into the connectors is a hell of a lot easier with this tool. I should put a couple of these in the inventory since they are not commonly found in the US.

I'm fed up with bullet connectors. I had to do a lot of rewiring on my Minor when I got it. I replaced them all with male/female spade connectors or soldered connections. My car is not a show car, so I don't mind upgrading the connectors. When I restored my MG TD, I used bullet connectors only where they showed. In other spots I soldered the connections together and installed shrink tubing over the joint. A lot of the problems attributed to British cars stem from bullet connectors. Once the connections are soldered, those go away. Some Lucas items, like Wind Tone horns, require bullet connectors and there is no other solution that works. My Minor came with burned out horns, so I replaced them with smaller, more modern Lucas horns which work just fine and take up a lot less space under the bonnet.

I just did the same thing including replacing the 2 fuse box with a 4 fuse spade box, And put a relay on the headlights. Much better, brighter lights now. I used bullet connectors and soldered all plus shrink wrap like you.

I haven't put in relays for the headlights, but then I rarely drive my old cars at night. Just keeping all the contacts clean helps the lights quite a bit. Also, very old bulbs lose some power. My MG still has one original Lucas headlight. I installed halogens on the Morris. Since Miss Marple was originally right hand drive and now is LHD, I had to change out the headlights so they didn't shine into the eyes of oncoming traffic. Also, one light had a burned out high beam when I got it.
