Registry: 1979 MG Midget MkIV

The car is a 1979 Midget from the Presidio district of San Fransisco..I bought it from a bloke who imported it to South Australia in 1984, with 82000 miles on it, absolutely zero rust, and all original, with some small dings and scrapes here and there. It had been shedded all it's Aussie life, so was in outstanding condition! I'm currently doing a full resto, paint and body is done, original color, but without the blacked out lower body. All parts are easy to come by and hopefully it'll be on the road in six months, I'm keeping it left hand drive, all original except the rubber bumpers are definitely going! The previous owner was a founder of the Austin Healey Sprite club here in SA and envisaged the car as a right hand drive conversion which he had already started on, it's pretty straightforward but nothing has been cut up too much which is good! Looking forward to getting it on the road, and going!! 9/5/21...still going with the resto after a few years layoff! The original 6 months was way off..5 years on but it's getting there now and feels good!!
