Registry: 1978 Datsun 280Z

I am the second owner of this car. It was bought new from the Datsun dealer in Oakridge, Oregon and has lived in that small Oregon town all of its life. It's an incredibly well preserved example, with just about no visible wear on the car at all. There is no accident damage, the car has all original paint which is still really clean and shiny. The inerior is also all original, with no cracks in the dash, and no visible wear in the seats, carpet, or the rest of the interior. It even still has its factory original Datsun branded radio fitted. The engine bay is equally pristine and original down to the 1977 dated spark plug wires. The car even still has its factory original headlamps. The car has had some standard maintenance items replaced, such as the battery and tires, but otherwise the car is essentially as it rolled off the assembly line. The previous owner kept the car in a well sealed garage and put ~33000 miles on it in 38 years of ownership. That said, he kept the car running and well maintained so it has stayed a perfect example of what these cars were when new. There are a few small door dings and such here and there. There are also a couple of dealer or distributor added badges and a sticker on the car from when it was new in 1978, which, as I don't want to repaint the car at all, I'm stuck with, but at this point, it's all part of the original history of this car itself. As with all my cars, I plan on driving it, which given how well it drives, I'll probably do quite a bit, but I will do my best to preserve the originality of this car as you more or less never find one in anywhere near as nice of condition as this one is in.
