  • Mid North South Australia

Car was an English one imported to West Australia. (A lot of MGB's here are American spec and been converted to right hand drive). So it has the hi-compression motor and twin SU's, no smog pump or pollution control. All I've done so far is fix or replace things that need doing; new tyres, accelerator cable,(stainless braided Harley one)coolant, plug leads, hoses, fuel lines etc.I may do some resto work in the next couple of years, but the main objective is to drive it and enjoy it. It didn't cost a mint, so I think I'm in front!!It has some rust bubbles on the front guards, but at least I could see what I was getting into; no sense paying more for a bogged up one and have to go thru the dramas not knowing about it....All in all' she's a nice "10 footer"!

Been getting into some repairs over the last couple of months; new electronic
distributor, new leads, new front brake calipers, pads and hoses, new brake master
cylinder, new clutch master and slave cylinders: all flushed and bled.New K&N air
cleaners, new heater tap and heater hoses; it's getting nicer to drive all the time!
Distributor made a big difference....

Next job is to fit a new overdrive gasket/filter and nail the oil leaks, (hopefully!)
