Purchased new by the original owner who lived in an eastern San Diego suburb. From what I was told, he drove the car for around a decade but lost his license due to being elderly. The car then sat in his garage until his passing in 2007. This Volvo received new hoses, battery, tires, exhaust at that time. I purchased the car in November, 2007. I was impressed at how rust free she was and is.
Since purchase, I have had the gearbox repaired to fix noisy bearings, the fuel injection control module rebuilt, a set of new carpets and new rubbers installed, a factory Volvo radio and the installation of a set of Volvo Virgo mags. She always starts up, no matter how long she has been sitting.
