This Stag previously belonged to a fellow Austin Healey Club member, who purchased it 25 years ago and restored it to its current excellent condition about 15 years ago. The original engine was completely rebuilt by a top notch mechanic, sorting out many of the initial reliability issues and shortcomings, and the car had been well restored mechanically and cosmetically to an excellent driver condition. When repainting, the previous owner opted to paint the car Mercedes Benz Bahama blue, rather than the original sapphire blue, the which actually suits the car very well, in my opinion.
Other than the paint colour, the car is pretty much correct and original, still with its original shadow blue interior and functional AM/FM British Leyland Radio and mono speaker.
