Registry: 1973 Jaguar E-Type Convertible

My 1973 XKE convertible was purchased with around 30000 original miles on it and a running, functional, but somewhat tired car. It had some restoration work done to it, but largely not done very well, including a repaint in the original silver (fairly poorly done, unfortuately), a new canvas hood, and other details. The previous owner(s) had engaged in some "creative" engineering and much of the original emissions system had been stripped out, the air conditioning system had been removed, leading to some bodging to cover up where it fit under the dash in the iterior, and there were some poorly done wiring repairs and minor issues that I had to deal with immediately, such as a cracked exhaust header, leaking clutch master cylinder, and some other minor issues. I'm slowly working on restoring the car to a more functional state, having repaired the exhaust, rebuilt the carburettors, completely replaced the clutch hydraulics as well as the brake master cylinder, servo, all the coolant hoses, exhaust, wiring harness, etc. Aside from that, the car was in pretty good shape overall, with no visible rust, a largely complete, serviceable interior, and complete and functioning mechanicals.
