Registry: 1964 Porsche 356C

I bought this car from a friend who has owned it a number of years but wasn't driving it. We met up and got the car running again, cleaning out the old fuel, freeing up the fuel valves in the carburettors, and went through a few things. I am the fourth owner of this car, but it has been largely just maintained throughout its life. The car has been repainted once in a very close shade of blue to the original. Otherwise, all the interior is original, the engine has never been apart and nothing has been changed from stock on this car. It has excellent patina, is a great driving car and doesn't really need any restoration work aside from replacing some deteriorated rubber and other failing components due to age or it's length of time sitting. This is a bit of a different classic for me (aside from being German) in that I am going to go out of my way to preserve all the patina on this car as much as possible and try to NOT restore it. Normally when I rebuild a component, i clean it up, repaint or replate it, and otherwise bring it back to new. In this case the patina is so consistent and perfect, that I can't do anything on the restoration end without it looking out of place. This is really one of those cars where it can only be original once and has hit that great sweet spot of being worn in but not worn out like most of the restoration projects I've taken on.
