Ordered through Land Rover dealership in Arlington Va. USA. Delivered as new vehicle to the American Ambassador to the French Congo at Brazzaville (during the Alphonse Massamba-Debat regime). Commandeered by government forces during the August 1968 Marxist coup d'état. Re-appropriated by the owners who fled the country and was stationed in England for 4 years. After residing several years in Bethesda Md. outside Washington DC, it was acquired by me and has now further resided in Falls Church Va., Northborough Mass., Washington DC and now in Broenshoej outside Copenhagen Denmark.
