The owner of the car that originally inspired me to go look for an MGA Mark II coupe offered to sell me his car. Although I had already bought an MGA coupe, aside from fixing the most glaring problems, I had done little on it. There were some significant issues I had with the first car I purchased which would have made restoring it to the level that I wanted it to be much more difficult than if I had started with a better car. To that end, I bought his car and am planning on restoring it rather than the first one I bought. The car, as purchased was in good shape, with decent paint and mechanically good, but with some incorrect fittings on the interior. As I already had another interior for my first MGA I've opted to start the cosmetic restoration of this car instead. my older MGA coupe will eventually be for sale, once I've sorted out the last couple of things to make it a reliable driver-level car. Until then, however, I'll put effort into getting this car where it should be!

It looks like that black coup is a great starting point. How does it look now?
