Front Side

Over $9000 has been recently spent on the restoration to include a very nice paint job, new tires, new radiator, new fuel tank and many other new parts. The car runs and drives but still needs some finishing such as floors repaired, exhaust work and interior work.

The engine appears to be a later replacement engine as it has the 1100 engine in it.

What size is the motor? Any work done to the motor or brakes?

I am unsure of the engine size as I have never looked up the numbers but I was told it was a later model 948 that was installed in it. I have not done any work on the brakes or the motor. The brakes could use some adjustment but they work. It does have a new radiator, fuel tank, sending unit, points. It runs fairly well and I do drive it around town from time to time. This car was one of the original Best Buy Geek Squad cars so it appears to have been maintained fairly well over the years as it was driven quite a bit for the business before I got it.

HiI have a RHD black 4 door minor 803cc with chassis number 220158. Probably built just before, but on the same day as yours! I have a heritage certificate that says mine was built on 6th and 7th October 1953, so thought you might be interested in the info.CheersJohn
