If Its Not Broke DON'T Fix It
Good morning all and happy Sunday...Just want to share some photos of the TR6 that I have been working on and getting ready for this spring ...I had originally purchased this car to finish the upgrades that the previous owner purchased and didn't have the experience to complete and then sell it.... but With Covid hitting and everyone wanting the same done to there vehicles I was pressed into service to do those repairs instead....so this past winter I have been trying my best to finish what I started ...And we all Know what happens when we take something apart that is 48 years old ...Yup the dreaded snow ball effect ....which I know that you can't try to replace a part that has 30 parts in front of it with out breaking something or finding something that is broken that you just couldn't see....and I know you are all sitting there with a cup of coffee or juice listing to the kids and wife yelling at you shaking your head and agreeing ....so with all that said here is what I have been working on Its a 1973 TR6 Emerald Green that came with a new soft top, new seat covers, new carpet kit, new dash pad, new fan shroud and some small parts ...the car drives great ...the engine needed some small things exhaust leak, carbs balanced battery cables stuff like that and the local repair shop didn't want or didn't know how to do...here are some pics enjoy
