No, that is not the relay.
The eight way's body is about 2x4 inches and about 2 inches high. The eight terminals are one each for the four light bulbs involved, power in from left and right turn signal switch, brake switch power, and flashing power. While non-actuated, power from the brake switch is directly connected to the rear lamps. When power comes in from left or right turn signal switch, a solenoid breaks the normally closed circuit to the respective side rear lamp and makes the circuit from the flashing power to the respective side lamps, front and rear. The completion of this circuit also completes the circuit through the flasher unit and thus that side starts flashing. With current going through the flasher unit, the indicator light is energized.
The later design that use separate rear bulbs for turn signals has flashing power going through the turn signal switch where as described above the turn signal switch directs constant power to respective solenoid in the eight way relay.

Thanks Jim

I couldn't find it on the Mini Mania site. It was used on other vehicles.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/3H1454-RELAY-FLASHER-8-WAY-TERMINAL-REPRODUCTION-MORRIS-MG-MGA-50-60S-CARS-/170269595570
http://www.mossmotors.com/Shop/ViewProducts.aspx?PlateIndexID=123114&SortOrder=35, item 42 p/n 141-400 for $71.99
The Morris Minor Centre system of numbers part number is SWT107 and Mini Mania does list it for $142.

Sorry....SWT107 was the correct number. Also, since I was sensing that I didn't know what the heck I was ordering I cancelled the order until I figure it out....with your help, of course.
Also, I found that some of the UK suppliers have much better prices, even taking into consideration the dollar - pound exchange rate and postage.....and I am checking on someone being able to rebuild my on-the-column switch with the horn push. The frame, handle, horn push spring are good...I need would a new little bakelite panel with the terminals and a new harness soldered on. The sliding brass contact and tiny spring that keeps the brass contact pressing up against the terminals is good too. I hate to chuck the whole unit for part of it being bad. Kind of like a trafficator assembly. If the base unit structure is there having it rebuilt is a possibility. And they don't make the backbone/frames anymore to my knowledge.
