Hi Group,

Had to share that I placed a good size order of parts for the Morris Minor to do a brake job and a few other items on 11/19/21 and it was at my door step today midday. That is 3 days from order to me, which I think is fantastically FAST shipping from ESM in the UK to Portland Oregon.

Just had to comment....!! Now onto the project at hand..

Hope others can have as good results. I have before and will order again for sure..

Yes ESM ship fast that's for sure. I ordered on Nov 3rd and had the package (including a new exhaust) on Nov 8th!

Same - 48 hours from pickup in UK to delivery to my door. Large order.
Don't get domestic orders that quickly.

Not to play the "one upsmanship" game but several years ago I placed an order with ESM for a windshield and other parts at 8AM EST and recieved the glass the next day via DHL at 11AM EST. The windshield must have been already boxed and the DHL truck at loading dock. Shipping out of the UK is both faster and cheaper than from the west coast for me.

Yes..Ive found the same thing... DHL ship FAST... orders from ESM often arrive faster than those from Los Angeles ( +/-400 miles away)

But beware that if you order small items like door hinge shims from ESM,
they are usually sent via Royal Mail parcel post & that takes around 2 weeks.

Yes, Royal Mail is about same speed as USPS international..and about same as regards reliability/ loss of parcels.. I think they use same carriers... I try and make larger orders with ESM in oder to reduce overall shipping costs..

I have also been seeing incredibly short ship times from the UK. Even with FedEx , I think because they fly in to an airport thats only 12 miles away and ships out directly from there for delivery. 3 days from ESM
Still waiting for an order from Peter May Engineering , must be a stock issue.


Of all the things I've lost - I miss my mind the most.

I ordered parts at 8:00pm Tuesday evening Dec 21st and they arrived on my doorstep on the evening of Thursday Dec 23rd. East Sussex, UK to Los Angeles, USA. ESM must have a FedEx truck parked with the engine running just outside their warehouse!
