My '61 Pick up spent most of its life with no doors or tailgate.. I aquired a couple of doors and both have the same issue..the raised part of the door lock is hitting the B post.. the gap twixt fender and door is also fairly tight.. it seems the doors are a tad too long to fit in the space.. I did encounter this issue many decades ago on a 4 door which had been involved in a frontal collision and someone welded the new front end parts ( it had everything from firewall forward replaced) on the car too far back.. but this pick up is all original and shows zero evidence of any collision damage.. I do see a difference in the design of door hinges between those on the pick up and those on my 2 door..although bolt holes are all in same place.. given the tight gap at front..i dont have much room to play with here.. Im going to try and take about 1/16" off the mating faces of the hinges and see if that will resolve the problem.. Has anyone else encountered this same issue ??

unfortunately this could be a sign of a rotted A post at the point it ties to the kickpanel/floor (internally)....this was my finding on my vehicle given your description was as I found mine....look for poor repairs or need of repairs in this area.
I've seen better days but they have cost me more money..!

they are 4 door saloon front doors.. the door shells are identical, and same part number for :- 4 door saloon, van and pick up.. the differences between 4 door front doors and LCV doors are related to 'trim'..the 4 door saloon has stainless steel window frames..vans and pick ups have painted window frames , as per the 2 door 'base' models.. (finishing panel or door card is also different.. on van/pick up its painted and is held in with plug like clips.. soloon is vinyl covered and held in with blind clips..but holes for clips are in same place.. and door card dimension are same..
I have fitted doors from a 4 door saloon complete with hinges 'as removed' from donor car, to both vans and pick ups in the past and dont recall this issue arising .. as regards the issue of rust where B post ties to sill and floor section.. its all solid.. the passenger side door is not quite as tight a fit as the driver side one..
the caveat is that this pick up spent most of its working life with no doors fitted..
I have had issues in the past when a door has been 'sprung' due to being opened too far and wedged against the fender, bending the door frame..but when this has happened its obvious..it puts a visible verticle crease in the door skin in about 1" back, in line with fender.. these doors are undamaged and in excellent condition.
I have not looked in the parts book as regards hinges.. BUT:- the hinges on van doors I have are identical to those of the 4 door saloon I just fitted.. the hinges I have from 2 door are different..
(mounting holes appear to be in same place) but they are from a '67 and they may have changed design later in production..I can check and compare with those on my '59 2 door..
Next step.. Im going to take the van door hinges to workshop this am, media blast them, and shave about 1/16" off both the mounting faces on one pair .. and see if that will cure the problem..
