Does anybody recognize this chrome trim piece? It came with a box full of new chrome parts when I purchased my 59 Morris Minor. I have no idea what it goes to and don’t recognize it as anything for a Morris Minor. I thought I would see if anybody else recognizes it. Sorry, I don’t really want to unwrap it as it is brand new in the package. It measures 14 inches from end to end and is just over 7/8 inch wide. It has four mounting holes as seen in the photo. Take a look and see if you know. Thanks
PS sorry no prizes will be awarded for the correct answer

Thank you for solving the mystery for me. I’m sorry it wasn’t much of a challenge for most of you. I sure missed that one. Most of the British car shows I go to in Northwest Indiana, southwest Michigan, and in the Chicagoland area Don’t have too many Morris Minors in attendance if any. I’m not even sure I’ve ever seen a split window in person. You would think that large chrome piece down the middle of the windscreen would catch your attention And stick in your memory. But it didn’t if I’d seen one. Thanks again

That's no worries, I agree, I cannot recall coming across another either at car shows (e.g Pittsburgh Grand Prix Briitish Car Day) except one I know in Central PA. Now the more valuable part if you run across is the brass chrome plated windscreen surround. They have typically been going lately close to equivalent $USD 200 on UK Ebay.
