Solved
Hi, just joined so thanks for having me. I have a 1959 convertible and I’m wondering if a series 2 handle fits, I don’t have a handle and there’s one on eBay at the moment.
Thanks folks.
John.

I should think it should work on any A series engined car as long as the starting dog is in place on the front of the crankshaft. Many engine transplants from Sprites/Midgets would not have the dog unless moved from the old engine.

I agree. It depends more on what the engine is/has then the year of the Minor. It's unlikely the starting dog changed. I don't think the Series II handle has the 3/8 Whitworth socket, so you'll need a lug wrench and something to run the jack up if you are using it.

Thank you John and Jim, also seller has confirmed it will fit so it’s bought.
