Hi, hope everyone is well
Just joined and this is my first post so please forgive me if this problem has already been covered!

My '68 moggy is being naughty again

With or without headlights on, when I indicate left my front passenger side side light flashes very fast (instead of the front indicator bulb which does nothing) my rear passenger indicator works but far too fast
Incicate right & everything is fine & working normally.

I've checked flasher unit, light unit & wiring all seems to be correct and earthed properly but obviously isn't!

Am I missing something really obvious here foks?

Can anyone out there shed any 'light' on the matter or am I going to have to take my moggy to the vets and spend yet more money on it to find an answer?

baffled Mic

It sounds like you have your wires crossed and the lower watt bulb is causing the faster flash.

yes, somewhere the wires got switched. the amber is supposed to flash, not the lower white running light. green wire to flash, red to park lamp. if those are correct at the unit, then you'll have to trace the wires back to find where the cross happened. good luck and cheers.
