Where is the best place stateside to get a 13/16 inch Lockheed master cylinder rebuild kit for my master cylinder ? Moss doesn’t list it.I can’t find it on.LBCC, Everyone is complaining about using Mini mania. Old farts parts website seems to be having problems and when I was able to get there, Steve doesn’t list it. I don’t have a part number for that. Does anybody know what that would be? Thanks.

may take a couple days but that is common just about wherever you buy it....e-bay usually comes through, this one is currently listed 355375487878
I've seen better days but they have cost me more money..!
5 out of 5 people usually think the other 4 are idiots....

Old Phartz British Car Parts, http://www.olphartz.com/morris.html, is my place to go for everything Morris in the US. Steve is great to talk with and knows everything Morris.

sometimes it is the very wording that is the killer...I try a variety of descriptor till I get a recognizable hit, then glean that information, usually the original part number and run another search for the better returns......ESM states kits for original lockheed part and sizes but they offer just the rubber bits.....these just basic seal kits are also available through lockheed but did not cut that in my quick search. You have to be careful with ESM as they also offer a pattern item (copy) in some components and these are not supported with kits for future maintenance. And in many cases they state cannot use lockheed to repair these.....has tripped a few people up.
Good luck, I also did not see any component rebuild kits at OPPs but strong on upgrades and such.....install and not first echelon maintenance

I got a message that I thought said that, but when I actually read t and clicked on "Proceed". it works. I think it's looking for https for validation, but that's OMH...
Oh, and BTW. a few years back (10?),I had mine sleeved for about half the price of new. Those folks ( from Portland OR) are retired now, so IDK who does it. Options are usually Stainless or brass; both are supposed to be "forever", but as the song goes, "Forever is a Long, Long Time..." Anyone on long term use?

Sleeved master and wheel cylinders: Yes, most if not all these on my two Minors and MG TD have been sleeved, probably some in brass and some in stainless. All done at least 30-40 years ago. Still working fine although I do use silicone fluid. Some of my cars have been family owed for 60+ years so permanence is paramount.

I acquired this 13/16” bore master cylinder for an upgrade on my Morris. It has been re-sleeved in brass/ bronze but needs a rebuild kit. Thanks to everyone for your help and advice

let us know your outcome on this....is the unit destined to be installed right after kitting? I found a master for a Morris at a swap meet locally. Pretty surprised to see it and the guy had no clue what it was for. It was in a box and label and postage from the UK and my bud upon seeing it said Hey, I know that guy, met him at the autojumble in the UK. Small world it seems sometimes. I have it laid aside and should in reality tear it down for an inspection and if not rebuildable, get it sleeved for a spare.
