Your choice of rocker shaft assemblies- with sintered steel rockers, folded, or cast rockers, all assembled and complete for $15 each plus postage at cost. The heavy duty rocker shaft, new and unused) is $25 (half price).
PayPal is fine. Let me know what you want then I'll box it up and get the postage price for a total.

$150 for the visor? Seems cheap as I tried to buy one from the UK for $200. years ago and would even send them a shipping container. Ended up with a fiberglass one from Norway. After a few months I had to apply fiberglass mat & epoxy ( vacuum method) to the underside as it was cracking from wind deflection/vibration. I no longer have the van but the repair held up for years... would not have that issue with a metal one.

It' is cheap. It probably cost about three times that. I bought from Bull Motif and it was on sale. It arrived too late for the painting of my car and I decided not to install it with the premium cost to paint a small item. It's been sitting in the shop for close to ten years. Time to go...

We’ve spoke before regarding parts. If you still have the rocker shaft I’ll take it.
How much for: new hardened Intake & Exhaust valve seats

dual valve springs
New Midget frond disc OEM type pads Or green stuff pads
And the 3.9 differential, I don’t need the whole thing either just the pumpkin or gears.
Thank you,
Robert

Hi Robert!

the following code: my prices (retail list price +tax and shipping as found at MiniMania.com, or used on eBay)

new heavy duty rocker shaft - $25 ($53 +tax) note- requires reaming rockers and posts to oversize
OR used rocker assembly- your choice of early: folded, mid period: cast, or latest: sintered steel - all serviceable, require cleaning $15 each (refurbished cost $188 to $217 +tax or used eBay $60 +tax)

new hardened Intake & Exhaust valve seats - sold as both sets- $70 ($45+88= $128 +tax)

(ISKY) dual valve springs - $20 ($44 +tax)

New Midget front disc OEM type pads Or green stuff pads - OEM type $15 ($35 +tax), EBC Green Stuff $35 ($77 +tax)

Used 3.9 differential, whole thing or the pumpkin. $250 price is the same; the cost is in my labor. (eBay lists pumpkin $440, or $400 axle +tax & shipping)
If you remove it complete from the car, the price is $150. You could probably resell axles on eBay and recover $200+, add your used 4.2 or 4.5 pumpkin to get $300-400.

* $150 for either if you pull it from the car yourself. IMO, it would be worth the drive if you want it all.

Everything priced as plus shipping, so let me know what you want shipped and I'll package it and get the shipping cost to Valley Center CA.

Gene

I have several although they are probably all worn. I scrounged for a decent one to use on my 1275. If you want one to rebuild, I'll send you one for the cost of the postage. Probably needs bushing, points and condenser, cap, and rotor. At least I'd check for wobble on the bushing, and the rest I'd do regardless. Most, if not all the ones I have are A Series engine and I'll see if one is marked for a 948. That was my original engine. I'm not sure if I can differentiate between a 948 and 1098 version, of if there actually is any difference.
My 1275 one happened to be stamped 1972, the vintage of my engine. The others IDK. I'll do my best.

I bought several of perhaps vague providence including a one or two that are "electronic" and could be reverted to points. I wasn't happy with a Petronix conversion- maybe it died. Went back to points, which I could set.

I’m going to get my head redone, I’m interested in the hardened seats, valve springs, bronze seats etc. I still want to zip up there to grab what ever comes with the 390 differential.
You mentioned new valves too that I may b3 interested in. And maybe a few other parts I might need and you need to get rid of.
Thanks
Robert
