I have two Tourer hood, convertible top, frames and hate to trow them away. Has anyone disassembled one of these and rebuilt it?

I was able to save a Bugeye hood frame by sand blasting and powder coating but will need more attention. I think a solution might be drilling out the rivets and replacing them with stainless steel bolts, washers and nylock nuts.

Thanks for input as always.

Not sure why you would drill out and replace rivets that are in good shape and operating properly. I would think you could sand blast all the top frame and repaint or powercoat with the rivets in place.
