Been messing around with British cars since I was 13, when my brother and I got a 63 TR4. That was in Virginia. The Frogeye came a year later, then the Land Rover and more than a hundred other cars. I have worked as a garage mechanic for 17 years, but now am a mechanical engineer at MAN B&W ship engines in Copenhagen.

We were both members there, but he didn't have time to repair all the rust on the car, so he parked it in storage for about a year. When my friend decided to move to Canada, he sold me the car for 3000 DKr. It would be another year before I could start on it. I kept it in another storage garage, this time one with lots of other Alfas there. When the t...
