Is it possible to use seats from a 4 door in a 2 door #1

Hi is it possible to use the seats from a 58 4 door, in a 56 series 2 .Also if I put the 948 engine and gearbox in the series 2,do I also have to change the diff?

i would say, yes, and maybe.depending on the gearing in your old diff. you might get away with just changing the diff head.swap the brakes over too if they are bigger( front also).also maybe the speedo as well. the seats should be a straight bolt in as the bases should be the same.someone with more knowledge on the diff ect will give better advice no doubt.
