First MG was a C!! I wanted a C since 1991 and finally bought a nice example in 2006 while stationed in the UK. Doug Smith at MG Motor sport rebuilt engine to stage 2, lightened flywheel and uprated torsion bars. I removed electric fan, relaced radiator crowl and belt driven fan - keeps up with the US heat better than electric. Just finished complete restoration of suspension, brakes bearings bushes. Future projects, install restored original distributor with optical points restoration by Jeff at Advance Distributors. Replace exhaust manifold with 6 branch set up. Also covert to triple SUs, but that project may wait until winter 2012.
